Deal: Nextbit Robin, $136.99 at eBay (down from $165)
Apr 24th 2017, 08:09, by Scott Adam Gordon

The Kickstarter-funded, cloud-based Nextbit Robin is on sale again. The handset has seen a number of price drops since it was first released in the middle of February last year, but $136.99 is one of the lowest yet.

The phone originally retailed at $399 (or $349 for backers), packing a 5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera and a 2,600 mAh battery.

It also houses 32 GB of internal storage space, but you don’t have to worry about depleting this as the device’s standout feature is the 100 GB of cloud data that it also provides. This is part of the core functionality of the device: it automatically backs up your data to the cloud and removes it from the handset if you haven’t interacted with that particular app/video/photo for a while.

It’s was updated to Android Nougat last month too, but that will be its last major update as it launched with Lollipop.

Nextbit has now stopped producing new units, so you're coming up to your last chance to get one. There's also not much chance of a sequel anytime soon, if you were holding out for that. Pick one up via the link above if you’re interested.
